To Whom It May Concern:
My company, eCharge Corporation, has recently been involved in Federal Court contract litigation in the Middle District of Tennessee in Nashville. We are headquartered in Seattle, Washington and found ourselves in Nashville pursuant to a jurisdiction clause in a license agreement with a Nashville based company.
Prior to becoming a full time businessman and entrepreneur I spent the first many years of my career as an attorney focused on litigation and business formation and finance. I still keep an active license in two jurisdictions but now leave the lawyering to others.
When I hired Ross Pepper I got very lucky. I found Ross through a Google search. I was looking for what I call a "lawyer's lawyer." I wanted a first class professional who knew his way around the courthouse and contract law. I wanted someone who had great credentials and experience. At the same time I sought an attorney who was in a small or sole practice so I could be assured of getting the attention of the person I was hiring as opposed to a junior partner or associate way down the food chain.
Ross Pepper is indeed a "lawyer's lawyer." He quickly gets to the heart of the matter and does not waste time on trifles. His knowledge of the attorneys on the opposing side and the judge hearing our matter gave me comfort. With his guidance and counsel our case, which could have easily spooled into a protracted matter, was handled with elegant precision. We had a fair result in a matter of weeks thanks to Ross's thoughtful analysis and clear headed approach.
My only regret is that Ross Pepper lives in Nashville. If he lived in Seattle I would use him all the time.
Sincerely,
Ron Erickson Chairman and CEO eCharge Corporation

I suffered severe injuries in a car accident. The first attorney whom I saw told me to take what the insurance company was offering because he could not get any more money for me. I am grateful that I went to see Ross Pepper. He took my case, and fought hard for me. Eventually, I received a settlement far more than what I was told was the most I would receive. Mr. Pepper was personally involved in my case all the way through. If you want a lawyer that will care about your case and be committed, you should talk with Mr. Pepper.
Sincerely,
Tanya Pickett

To Whom It May Concern:
Mr. Pepper has been our lawyer for years now. He has done a great job of defending us in cases brought against us and in winning cases we have brought. Our full service technology company needs an experienced trial attorney who is able to understand the complexities of our business, and we know that we can count on Mr. Pepper to handle all of our contract disputes, business problems and employment issues. We appreciate Mr. Pepper's strategy of trying to find the most cost effective way to resolve our legal problems. He has given us "big firm" results without the "big firm" tab.
Sincerely,
Julie May President/CEO bytes of knowledge Nashville, TN

RE: Recommendation
Mr. Pepper represented me when a business partner from Nashville breached an agreement to pay me for my shares in a multi-million dollar company. It was clear that I would not be paid unless I hired an experienced trial lawyer with the savvy and commitment to take my case to trial. Mr. Pepper did such a thorough job that I never had to go to trial. He obtained an excellent settlement for me and one that was far more than what was originally offered. A large law firm could not have provided me with more attention and commitment that Mr. Pepper and his staff did.
Respectfully,
Kenneth Casey President KHCV TV Seattle, Washington
