Cole Hodge is a civil trial lawyer who handles an array of civil and commercial litigation matters, including, but not limited to, real estate disputes, contract disputes, disputes involving wills and trusts, insurance disputes, shareholder, partner and LLC member disputes, and employment disputes. In his practice, Mr. Hodge represents clients from a wide variety of industries and professions, including individuals and businesses, from small to large. Mr. Cole represents clients in state and in federal courts, as well as in arbitrations and administrative proceedings.
During law school, Cole was captain of the National Trial Team, a 2019 Phi Alpha Delta Mock Trial National Champion, recipient of the Tennessee Attorney General Award for Excellence, and was granted membership to The Order of Barristers. Cole also demonstrated strong leadership abilities in law school by serving as Chair of the Moot Court Board, a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council, Membership Chair for the Sanford Phi Alpha Delta Chapter, Public Relations Chair for the Health Law Society, and by co-founding the Vol to Law mentoring program. For these leadership efforts, Cole was awarded the Chancellor George Lewis Leadership Award. Cole also gained professional experience in law school while serving as a Judge Advocate General extern with the United States Air Force, a student attorney in the College of Law’s Domestic Violence Legal Clinic, a judicial extern with the Civil Division of United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Bruce Guyton, Chief United States Magistrate for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Cole grew up in a nearby suburb of Nashville, Tennessee, and he has lived in the Nashville area for most of his life. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University, Cole worked as a Lobbyist Aide for a governmental association in the Tennessee Legislature, an Intelligence Analyst for the State of Tennessee, and as a Manager of Proposal Development for a major corporation. Following these professional experiences, Cole attended law school at The University of Tennessee College of Law..
Cole is an active member of the Hendersonville Church of the Nazarene and the Nashville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. He is also a fan of Notre Dame football, North Carolina basketball, the Green Bay Packers, the New York Yankees, and the Nashville Soccer Club.
