Jimmy represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of complex commercial, business, and construction disputes. Jimmy spent his first few years of practice in Seattle, where he primarily represented construction companies in the many claims that arise in Seattle's aggressive and dynamic construction landscape. Jimmy spent the next chapter of his career at the premier law firm of Washington's agricultural basin, where he represented some of the nation's largest farming operations in a variety of commercial disputes. Now, having settled in Nashville to be close to friends and family, Jimmy utilizes his extensive litigation experience on behalf of clients in Middle Tennessee who need incisive counsel and strategic advocacy to resolve commercial disputes in both federal and state courts.

Throughout his career, Jimmy has secured favorable results for clients in a wide variety of complex litigation across many industries, such as defending one of the nation's largest cable companies against lawsuits arising from a damaged jet fuel pipeline, defending a construction company from claims arising in operations on oil rigs in the North Slope of Alaska, defending a medical device company in personal injury litigation, and defending a concert venue against suits arising from the explosion of a defective confetti cannon.

Jimmy's wide range of experience provides him with unique insight into the extensive nuances of litigation. Jimmy uses this insight first to effectively counsel clients on the full range of options to pursue their goals, and then to efficiently get results.

As a representative success achieved for a construction company, Jimmy obtained summary dismissal of Puget Sound Energy's $17 million contractual indemnity claim arising from work on the gas line at the center of the 2016 natural gas explosion in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle-and successfully defended the appeals. Puget Sound Energy Inc. v. Pilchuck Contractors, Inc., 15 Wash. App.2d 1004 (2020).

When out of the office, Jimmy enjoys functional fitness and traveling the world for mountain and ocean sports. While Jimmy would like to consider himself a bow hunter, the results of recent outings reflect he is merely a bow hiker.

Client Reviews
★★★★★
Ross Pepper is indeed a "lawyer's lawyer." He quickly gets to the heart of the matter and does not waste time on trifles. His knowledge of the attorneys on the opposing side and the judge hearing our matter gave me comfort. Ron Erickson Chairman and CEO eCharge Corporation
★★★★★
Mr. Pepper did such a thorough job that I never had to go to trial. He obtained an excellent settlement for me and one that was far more than what was originally offered. Kenneth Casey President KHCV TV Seattle, Washington

I am writing in regard to Ross Pepper at Pepper Law. I was a 1099 Representative. My company was a large independent representative company for a very large national service company. As a long time business owner, it was very hard to turn over control to Ross and his firm. In a short time, I recognized I could not only trust Ross, but could be dependent on his direction and control. Through my experience, Ross was dependable and pragmatic. Ross took great conscious of my legal expenses through the entire process. I have had the experience of working with many and attorneys on several complicated matters through my career, but none as great as this case. I could not recommend Ross more as a critical asset.
